Abstract
Ethernet is increasingly utilized in aerospace for its high data rates and compatibility, offering potential benefits in spacecraft applications. The study presented in this paper evaluates the feasibility of 100Base-T1 and 1000Base-T1 standards from the aspect of channel characterization and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Measurements of cable scattering parameters as well as the results of an EMC test campaign are presented.
